Mars bar vodka is a festive frivolity
Greenall's Mars bar vodka
4 Mars bars, roughly chopped
300ml Crystalnaya vodka
Place the Mars bars in a glass bowl and place it over a pan half-full of water.
Bring the water to a simmer and as the Mars bars start melting add 30oml of vodka bit by bit.
Keep stirring the mixture until it is all incorporated - the caramel will be the last part to melt. Do not let it boil.
Take off the heat, cool and then bottle.
Place this in the freezer for 24 hours; it won't freeze but will become thick and cold.
A chocolate, alcoholic pick-me-up on a cold winter's day.
