Matt Clark

Matt Clark

After being caught up in a riot at the school in which he taught, Matt Clark decided to retrain as a war correspondent because it was safer. He never made it to the front lines as a hack but served with the Territorial Army. His day job was on newspapers and then magazines. Having been a fieldsports enthusiast since boyhood, he was offered the editorship of a shooting publication and eventually became editor of Sporting Gun, one of The Field’s former sister titles. Matt is now training for ordination in the Anglican Church at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford.
