Daniel Pembrey grew up in rural Nottinghamshire and read History at Edinburgh University. After a decade spent working on the West Coast of America, he became a crime fiction novelist. He writes feature articles on a wide variety of subjects, with food, travel and historic cars and buildings being among his favourite things.
