Greenall's Blackberry Gin. The perfect hedgerow treat
Greenall's Blackberry Gin
2 bottles Greenall's gin
10 1/2 oz ripe blackberries, fresh or frozen
10 1/2 oz granulated sugar
Place the blackberries in a large kilner jar, add the sugar and then top up with the gin. Shake every day until the sugar is dissolved and then store in a dark place shaking occassionally.
After three months strainn it through a muslin or, if you have the patience, through coffee filter paper. Then bottle it and allow to mature for six to 12 months before drinking.
