The British Open Show Jumping Championships, to be held at the NEC Birmingham April 16-19, have a great line up of entertainment alongside an international field of showjumpers. Indoor cross-country, barrel racing and the breathtaking Jean François Pigno are all booked for the event but a recent signing is attracting a lot of interest.

After her stinging rebuke at the Cartier Polo in 2008 when Chinawhite declined to sell her a table Katie Price has leapt back on her metaphorical horse and is to captain a polo team for the celebrity polo match on the last day of the show. She told organizers “I’m definitely looking forward to going head-to-head with another celebrity and hopefully scoring a few goals! And, unlike some polo matches I could mention, this one is open to anyone who wants to buy a ticket! See you there!”
