Alongside the professional models on the catwalk, a selection of the Charity’s working assistance dogs will be showing off their skills in a variety of tasks including taking money from a cash machine, undressing their human partner, and fetching help in an emergency.

Canine Partners is a registered charity that assists people with disabilities to enjoy a greater independence and quality of life through the provision of specially trained dogs, whose well-being is a key consideration.

Dogs, Rocks and Frocks is being held at St Mary’s in Wyndham Place, London, W1, with a drinks reception at 6.30pm followed by the fashion show and auction with a light supper included.

Baroness Thatcher will attend if she is well enough, and also the former Chief of the General Staff, General Sir Richard Dannatt GCB CBE MC ADC Gen.

The show is being carefully choreographed, and the production handled, by the team from C4’s How To Look Good Naked, all of whom have kindly donated their time and materials to Canine Partners.

Debenhams is generously supplying clothing for all the models, some of whom will have disabilities and will work with the trained dogs on the catwalk.

Top designer, Ben de Lisi has donated one of his designs for the auction as well as providing clothes for the models on the catwalk.
