Lot 166 is a very fine and rare 18ct yellow gold limited series automatic centre seconds calendar wristwatch with Co-Axial escapement with fitted box, papers and letters signed by George Daniels Millennium, made in 1999.

18ct gilded brass movement with special co-axial escapement and mono-metallic free sprung balance, gold engine turned rotor, the engraved surround with foliage decoration and signed Co-Axial Escapement, fine engine turned silvered dial with eccentric gold chapter ring, with black roman numerals, 18ct gold Daniels hands, gold subsidiary date ring with two cartouches signed Daniels and London, 18ct gold polished circular case with stepped bezel and winding crown between 7 and 8, sapphire crystal glazed exhibition case back hallmarked for London and stamped with owner’s initials, fitted leather strap with 18ct gold George Daniels buckle, together with original George Daniels fitted box, letters of provenance and receipts, case, dial and movement signed 37mm.
