The Purdey headquarters is looking for trophies to display
The Long Room in Purdey's Mayfair headquarters has long been a hallowed destination for sportsmen. Portraits of the Purdey family hang with photographs of regal safaris but chairman Nigel Beaumont has decided that it is lacking atmosphere. "I would like two stag heads to adorn the walls at either end of the Long Room" he tells us. An individual or estate who has a suitably grand beast to loan has the chance to be recorded in this historic room.
