How well do you actually shoot? Will keeping a cartridge-to-kill ratio help you decide how you shoot?
A ratio is accepted as a bench-mark of quality when applied to a shoot, but does a cartridge-to-kill ratio represent an accurate assessment of the individual game-shooter's ability? Does it tell you if you are a good shot? When you are shooting within the effective range of your capabilities with a normal game-gun, will a ratio mark you out as a good shot, bad or average shot to the rest of the shooting community and to yourself?
The answer to this apparently simple question is complex. To find out if you are a good shot read the full feature in the November issue of The Field, in shops now.
