I was reading the September Issue "shoots that test the best" on a high-seat in Ludwigswinkel, Germany, hoping for a red deer stag to chance by. I had already shot an 3rd head eight pointer earlier in the week; this time my luck left me down. But I enjoyed reading the story by the Countess of Carnarvon and the story "resurgent Wemmergill" before I became to dark to read; I have a picture with the view from the high-seat and The Field.
