The army's famous "Biggest Curry Lunch" is open to all in April
The Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) is calling on all curry lovers to join in the World’s Biggest Curry Lunch on any day they choose this month. A free fund-raising pack, including recipes, menus and tips on how to organise an event, is available by calling 0845 873 4831 or emailing Big Curry
ABF controller Major General Sir Evelyn Webb-Carter says:
“April 2008 will be the second year of the World’s Biggest Curry Lunch. Curry is a traditional dish of the British Army, but this fun and unique event is something that everyone can get involved in, while also supporting our soldiers, who need our help now more than ever.”
